Rudimentary Rural Structures

A sequence of utilitarian structures in rural locations, each rendered in concrete and marked by rain and decay. Their original purposes may now be lost, but they evoke the forms of bunkers, agricultural buildings, defensive emplacements, monuments and shelters; architecture whose meanings have become ambiguous over time. These images invite reflection on history, memory, and the shifting boundaries between utility and ruin.
