Landmark

On the way out from Waterloo Station, there used to be a footbridge to get you to the South Bank, but it is closed off by a massive construction site and a huge hole, which now blocks the way. This is one section of it, with the impressively large girders that are holding up the great weight of the elevated railway track that crosses the River Thames over Hungerford Bridge. Just beyond that you can see the Royal Festival Hall, one of the nicest, most cultural places to visit in London.
