Colindale is a London Underground station in Colindale, a suburb of north London. The station is on the north-south Edgware branch of the Northern line, between Burnt Oak and Hendon Central stations.
Kaymaklı Underground City
Kaymaklı Underground City is contained within the citadel of Kaymaklı in the Central Anatolia Region of Turkey. First opened to tourists in 1964, the village is about 19 km from Nevşehir, on the Nevşehir-Niğde road.
Dervish (video 03:20)
The Mesale café in the Arasta Bazaar in Istanbul. The band assembled first, tuned up and then started playing some sublime music. Then the Dervish came up and performed his whirling dance.

Tree cutting sequence
I heard a chainsaw in the street. I tried to ignore it but it was an intrusive noise and I wondered what was taking such a hammering. I looked out to see a man cutting down the large acacia tree in the yard of the house opposite.
Highbury Station Road: changes over time
I happened to be meeting a friend for lunch outside Highbury and Islington Underground Station last Friday and had some time to kill, so I walked round the corner, where it was less busy, looking for something to photograph.
I remembered taking a picture years before in Highbury Station Road - when I was still new to photography and still thought HDR was the best thing ever. This is the photo I took then. I was deliberately aiming for a spooky, timeless feel.

Watching the Chelsea vs Arsenal game on TV yesterday, I grabbed this image from the TV screen as Arsene Wenger displays his passionate displeasure at a bad foul and gives José Mourinho a right good and well-deserved shove.
